Jesus is the Song of Life
Bach once said that he makes music that glorifies the Lord, anything else was idle chatter of the devil.
That's what my husband feels about art and music. In everything he creates, whether it be for the church or the world, to him it's all the same. The end result is to give glory to God.
One of my favorite pieces is Jesus is the Song of Life. He created it a few years back. It reminds me that the Spirit of God lives in us. Even our tears our important to our Creator. Weaping may endure by night, but joy does come in the morning. As we allow God to work in us and through us, even in our darkest moments, what was once desolate can have new life. What was once broken, can be not only healed, but completely restored.
