Response to "Church of Oprah Exposed"
As many of you are not on Shoutlife, I will post it here as well.
For those of you who are unaware, a VERY EFFECTIVE book trailer (I did not produce this one) was done regarding exposing the untruths of her beliefs. It's below:
Although many Christians feel as though they will continue to watch her show and just take the "good parts from it", for me, I am led to do differently. Watch this video. Oprah completely misquotes Scripture about God being jealous of her. God isn't jealous of her. He's like any husband would be. How would your husband react if you ran around on him? I know if my husband ran around on me I would be hot mad to!
Okay, I'm not going to go into that now...
It is dangerous to have one of your circle of close friends to have views as she does. As much as you will try, her views WILL affect yours. Why do I say that she is part of your circle? If you are a fan, you will look up to her and listen to what she has to say. As lovely as her works are, she is not holy because of them (one of her beliefs). As wonderful as her actions might be, she is not sinless (she believes she is according to reports). One who believes they is no need for the Blood of Christ is really one we shouldn't be "hanging out with" and admiring.
I know. You're thinking, "But Jesus hung out with the whores and tax collectors!"
Yes, but He did it with the intention of ministering to them. When He was done, He went off by Himself or hung out with the 12 HE choose.
Choose well this day whom you will allow to influence you.
So my response is, I'm not going to watch for awhile until I am released to do so. I am committed, however, to pray for her and Tom Cruise daily.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

PRAYER
Father,
We come to you in Jesus name lifting up Oprah and Tom Cruise. We know that the god of this world has blinded their eyes so that they cannot see the truth. For who would turn their back to You if they can see Who You really are? No one! For You are loving and kind and generous. Your mercy renews every morning for the just and unjust. And even now, today, your mercy has renewed for Oprah and Tom. For your mercy has given them breath today. One day closer to their salvation!
Jesus did not come into the world to condemn the world but through Him we might be saved. As You, Father, have given us authority in Jesus, we gladly take our place seated at Your right hand. We do this with humility, knowing it has been given to us at such a high price.
Therefore, we touch and agree that this day Oprah's and Tom's lives are changed. We prophecy that they are saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Spirit and speak this over them. We loose the angels of the Most High God to usher them into their day of salvation. We loose the ministry of salvation into their lives knowing Father You will use whatever You see fit. You are so creative and You know them. We loose Your Word of Salvation and bind it to them. Thank You for bringing the Word to them each and every day in a way they can understand and receive!
We bind every demonic force, hindrance, and influence working in their lives that is keeping them from the Light of the Truth. This day you are powerless and we enforce the victory won in Jesus! Glory to God! Satan, you are defeated!
We are redeemed of the Lord! Whatever we say is so. We cannot be denied.
Father, we thank You that they are saved, sanctified, filled with the Holy Spirit. We decree an order of protection around them and their family as they come to You and live your life for you. The enemy has lost them to You and we rejoice!
We decree no backlash or retaliation will come against us for believing in Your Word. For Your Will is for no one to perish, but that everyone come into the knowledge of Jesus.
Thank You, Father, for Your design.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your obedience. We are free from the curse of the law!
Thank You, Holy Spirit, for convicting our siblings to be and ushering them in.
