She Runs with Horses

I've had so many requests regarding where the new logo came from, I thought I would let you take a look. Now, please keep in mind this is not a professional picture.
It's my sad attempt to capture something with the little knowledge on taking a quick pic of something. I know; it's at an angle. But it was the only way to get the light source
correct so that at least you
can see the beauty of the work done by colorist Hector E. Soto. The colors are actually alot more vibrant in real life. I'm still getting the hang of my digital camera.

And, now, She Runs with Horses:

There was a poem that was written by Hector that inspired the painting:
She runs with horses because she wants to be free
They're strong and swift and wild as can be
But God has a higher plan you see
For her to fly above the eagles with me

                                            Hector E. Soto
Ó 1995

This was written for me inside a beautiful horse book, called The Last of the Wild Horses.

My husband, the gifted artist Hector E. Soto created the painting out of love for me the following year to go with the book and poem.

So for all you horse lovers out there, or for all you who love a romantic story (all be it short), I hope this brings you some joy. I know that after more than 10 years, it still brings great joy to me.

God bless you.
