Integrity is the Word
Today’s power verse comes from verse eight: All the words of my mouth [are] in righteousness; [there is] nothing froward or perverse in them.
This verse is letting us know the depths God will go to bring understanding to you about Him. The real Truth. He is not the God that is watching over you, marking everything you do wrong so that He can throw it in your face later. He is not waiting for you to screw up so that He can make you feel bad about it. He is the God of love.
But in order for you to believe that He loves you, you need to know that anything He tells you are words that are true and right. Not one thing He says will be twisted or skewed. His advise will always be to your benefit; not your destruction. There is nothing devious in Him. God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). Truth is only found in the light.
That is why you can believe anything He says in His Word (the Bible). You can believe that He loves you, because He is love ( 1st John 4:8). You can believe He wants you well, because healing is part of The Blessing that is provided (Deut. 28). You can believe that you are forgiven the moment you confess your faults because He is faithful (1st John 1:9).
On this one thing you can count on: the integrity of His Word. His Word has nothing missing, nothing broken in it. Nothing.
